Aquatic/Life Guard/Manager

Essential job duties/functions:
1.Supervises, coordinates and implements all aspects of the aquatics department including but not limited to hiring, training, in-service training, and daily scheduling.
2.Develop, implement, and train department supervisors and staff on safety and operational policies. Assist other departments in ensuring compliance of the safety and operational policies. All areas of the Water Safety Program will be operated to work within the guidelines as stated by our Insurance Provider.
3.Work with local EMS agencies to establish all Emergency Response procedures and a written plan. Train and conducts role-play and audits performance to ensure understanding and compliance of the plan.
4.Administer all office work including pre-employment paperwork, lifeguard paperwork (including in-service tracking, VAT, rescue reports), daily inspections.
5.Responsible for updating or drafting job descriptions, manuals and policies for aquatic staff.
6.Daily monitor of equipment, attraction cleanliness through the list of opening/closing and daily maintenance checklist.
7.Ability to plan staffing according to projections and flex the schedule according to demand.
8.Supervises or leads special activities.
9.Responds to public requests or questions.
10.Maintains up to date knowledge of industry aquatic safety trends.
11.Develop and maintain a unique and talented team of aquatic supervisors that have the ability to think on their feet and be creative problem solvers.
12.Hold weekly staff meetings for supervisors providing updates on challenges from the previous week and updates on the coming week.
13.Ensure all new hired employees attend ALOHA training. Additionally, develop and implement specific customer service training for lifeguards.
14.Develop employee incentive programs that ensure employee happiness and growth.
15.Maintain current lifeguard and lifeguard supervisor manuals that reflect the values, policies, and safe operation of the park.
16.Maintain inventory-tracking system for aquatics and maintenance departments.
17.Work in conjunction with the Maintenance department to ensure all rides are operated properly and inspected prior to opening daily.
Required skills:
1.Lifeguard training and licensing. (Instructor training at first opportunity)
2.Basic knowledge of maintenance operations including: electrical, plumbing, pumps, filtration.
3.Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software as necessary.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
