Hours - 30-40 hours per week 8am Start Time Summary Statement:
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Hold technician is responsible to:
Issues ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials, in process and finished products holds.
Evaluate materials on hold and manage dispositions with Quality Management approval.
Perform hold verifications and conduct defective materials inventories.
Create reporting of Holds and dispositions.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
o Issue ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials, in process and finished goods holds and manage dispositions with Quality Management approval o Generate Hold Notices and ensure product is properly segregated and tagged o Put ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials, and in process products on hold in SAP o Put finished products on hold in Matrix o Pull and test samples, and take pictures if necessary o Conduct defective materials inventories and distribute reports o Manage dispositions with Quality Management approval o Release ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials and in process products in SAP for operations use o Release finished products for regular distribution in Matrix and communicate with warehouse o Communicate dispositions of materials on hold o Maintain Hold Log and other hold recordso Generate Reports of Holdso Weekly and monthly finished products holds and rework reportso Weekly ingredients, raw materials and in process products holds reportso Other responsibilities as assigned Minimum Qualifications/Abilities:
o Good communication skills o Eye for accurate documentation (detailed orientated) o Drive for results fixing issues o Must demonstrate proficiency in Standard Office equipment operation o Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Web based computer systems o Computer Savvy- Must be able to perform required SAP Quality and MM and Meridian functions (will teach but needs to learn quickly) o Must demonstrate good organizational and time management skills o Educational level of High School graduate or GED equivalent Why Kelly ?At Kelly Services , we work with the best.
