Description
As a Region Production Manager you will be responsible for leading retread plants and associated personnel in producing the lowest (manufactured) cost, highest quality retread products in the market. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement processes and programs to achieve the business unit''s production goals - Oversee operations to ensure peak utilization of company assets.
- Work with every retread plant in your region and ensure that they are scheduled to full capacity. - Provide training to ensure that production associates are trained and held accountable for manufacturing to published manufacturing standards - Ensure all retread plants within the scope of your authority are operating safely and in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and governmental regulations.
- Promote the standard of Service Excellence-Always within the organization and specifically to production associates.
- Assist with a variety of other duties as required.
This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected.
Extensive travel will be required.
Excellent safety and attendance performance is expected.
Requirements
Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
Ability to direct and motivate people.
Must have a minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience
Must have a mechanical aptitude Must have the ability to perform maintenance and calibration on plant equipment Must have the ablility to train and audit results of training
Must have the ability to troubleshoot and determine problem areas in the plant then and develop and implement corrective actions to address Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Must be flexible and able to work extended hours. Extensive travel is required. Excellent oral and written communication ability.
Good computer skills.
Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN verification, criminal history, etc.
Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test (hair-based).
