Description
A Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers Manager of Financial Analyst and Planning is vital in the accurate maintenance and reporting of financial statements for the field locations and FSSC. Duties include but are not limited to the following: -Provides forward-looking leadership in terms of interpretation, analysis, reporting, and forecasting of the organization''s core financial metrics.-Leads the development of all FP&A activities in alignment with Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers objectives and strategy.-Ensures the completion of routine reporting to parent company.-Interprets organization''s financial data to forecast at needed frequencies: within-month, x+y forecasts and AOP at corporate and field levels.-Generates ad-hoc analysis and reporting on an as needed basis.-Leverages certain monthly planning techniques from the S&OP process to enhance operations and meet business objectives.-Manages inventory levels throughout field operations.
Requirements
Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
Required Skills:
Advanced knowledge of financial reporting, Experience with financial spreadsheets and complex data. Strong analytical skills, effective in written and oral communications. Able to work under pressure with varying workloads in a dynamic business environment. At least 3 years working experience in Accounting and/or Financial Analysis OR related field.
A Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required and an MBA and/or CPA is desired.
This position requires knowledge of financial statements, including analysis, trending and forecasting; also requires the ability to create/maintain financial models using advanced Excel functionality.
Must be able to pass a background check including employment history, SSN verification, criminal history, etc.
Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test (hair-based).
