Job Description:
The business application software developer will serve as a technical member on Baldor's business information team to support sales and distribution. This position will design, deliver and maintain sales and distribution appllications for the Baldor BUS system. Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Perform SAP customization through ABAP programming, Adobe forms, SAP configuration, user exits and
2. Develop program designs.
3. Use ABAP programming to create and maintain report programs, dialog programs and BAPI's that interface
4. Perform complete testing and verification.
5. Write technical documentation
6. Conduct user training and support.
7. Perform technical tasks in coordination with other Information
services
team members and according to
8. Through personal study and course-work, stay informed on current SAP technical and functional
Education:
A Bachelor's degee in
computer
Information Systems is highly desired or equivalent System Design and Programming in languages listed below. Those who meet all other requirements with demonstrated experience in the field will be considered.
Experience:
The following experience, knowledge and skills are required/preferred:
1. Possess strong working knowedge of the following programming languages - ABAP, JAVA, C, .NET
2. Ability to adapt to new technologies.
3. Knowledge of Sales and Distribution SAP modules a plus.
4. Works well with others in a team environment.
5. Excellent written and oral communications.
6. Self Motivated, able to work on multiple projects at once.
7. Good Business judgement
8. Excellent problem solving skills
