We are currently recruiting for the position of IT Administrator.
The tasks and responsibilities required of an IT System Administrator are outlined below:
Maintain computers and information technology systems:
Maintain the availability of technology and systems through dutiful administration of information technology systems that support the operation.
This includes user account and system administration, Microsoft Windows file and print servers, warehouse management systems, order management systems, physical security control systems, network and wireless systems, tablet computers, desktop workstations, laptops, VOIP telephony equipment and multifunction devices.
Address disruptions in system availability and accessibility immediately.
Conduct information technology adds, moves, and changes of service:
Responsible for change management to support the dynamic needs of the business operation and to maintain technology currency.
Analyze, plan and design upgrades and anticipate future technology needs of the business through engagement with business and operational managers.
Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance activities in support of system updates, upgrades and replacement of technology equipment and systems.
Evaluate, propose, purchase and implement new technologies as necessary.
Provide information technology support services:
Provide rapid, customer-centric support for all information technology requests and incidents using support request tracking and reporting systems.
Leverage in-house knowledge, colleagues and third party and partners in the troubleshooting and resolution of incidents.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and fix hardware and software related to service requests and incidents.
Serve as the primary point of contact with third parties for replacement or repair of all information technology hardware and software systems at the location.
Manage network connectivity:
Responsible for maintaining a stable network services for all connected devices.
Leverage network management tools to continuously monitor the availability and health of network and server infrastructure.
Leverage third parties for troubleshooting and repair of network infrastructure services.
The skill and qualifications required for an IT System Administrator are outlined below:
Minimum of a B.
S in computer related degree or industry related experience Five or more years of information technology support and administration experience Expert knowledge in the administration and maintenance of enterprise warehouse management and order management systems (Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP) Expert management capabilities of Microsoft Windows based infrastructure (Windows file and print servers) Fluent use of incident management systems for managing IT support requests (ServiceNow, ConnectWise) Superb written and oral communication skills, capable of communicating with all levels of employees in supporting a logistics and supply chain operating environment.
Interface in a professional and courteous manner with fellow information technology professionals of customers and partners.
Capable of providing technical support to a variety of desktop applications including Microsoft Office 365, Citrix, Service Now, SAP clients, Remote Desktop, and supply chain specific software systems.
Experience managing voice-over-IP (VOIP) telephony systems (Mitel) Familiarity with EDI, API, and XML business data exchanges that support supply chain operations.
