We are currently recruiting for the position of Supply Chain Manager.
The tasks and responsibilities required of a Supply Chain Manager are outlined below:
Direct management of a multi-location operation, including warehouse operations, transportation, labor planning, budgeting, facilities and customer service.
Liaison between the customer, suppliers and operations for the execution of operational goals and initiatives.
Develops improvement strategies by analyzing process workflow, resources and customer requirements.
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing defined standards, practices, and procedures that comply with pertinent governmental and legal regulations and laws.
Maintains knowledge of current industry standards, technology, and customer requirements within the area of supply chain services.
Develops and manages operational KPI's to ensure the achievement of operational, cost per unit, productivity, accuracy, and service level objectives.
Effectively leads, and develops the workforce; including work performance management, coaching, and team motivation.
Responsible for performing all duties as required and assigned.
The skill and qualifications required for a Supply Chain Manager are outlined below:
At least 10 years of progressive distributor & supply chain experience for a high-volume customer.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred; or an equivalent amount of education, training, and work experience.
Proven leadership in key areas such as:
supply chain/logistics, analytics solutions, & forecasting, and supporting a complex cross-functional team.
Proven relationship-building ability.
Excellent organization, follow-up, and judgment skills.
Solid analytical skills and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills:
ability to share information clearly and concisely both verbally and written.
Advanced PC skills required:
MS Office Suite:
Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio.
Strong skillset and experience working with a variety of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Strong executive presence and communication skills.
Experience interacting with senior leadership is required.
Periodic travel is required for this role.
