Learn, Play, Grow Children's Therapy Services is seeking a new Patient Services Representative.
The Patient Services Representative must effectively communicate with physician offices, parents, and staff with good written and verbal communication skills.
The Patient Services Representative must communicate with patients, families, visitors, physician offices, and staff, with a caring, friendly, personal and professional approach.
The Patient Services Representative will answer phone calls, texts, and emails from parents and doctors and dispatch messages and/or calls.
The Patient Services Representative will coordinate completion of intake forms, greet and check-in parents/ patients as they arrive for appointments, educate families on policies and agreements, including attendance, secure signatures as needed, and go over / enter information into the computer.
The Patient Services Representative will collect payments, check insurance eligibility and benefits, scan, file, and fax documents to physician offices and vendors, and be responsible for incoming and outgoing mail.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma required.
Associate Degree or higher preferred.
Medical office training is beneficial.
Education necessary to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
Knowledge of business office procedures is beneficial.
Must have computer knowledge, typing skills and knowledge of basic math.
Ability to use Microsoft Office and Google Drive, and enter information into spreadsheets and electronic medical systems is required.
Experience:
One year experience in a clinic or healthcare setting is preferred.
Equipment Used:
Must be able to operate multi-line telephone, fax machine, copier, computer and calculator.
Other:
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Must have an outgoing and friendly personality, must be a people-person.
Ability to read, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetical, numerical, or color-coded systems.
Must display initiative and willingness to accept additional duties in the front office area during absences and adapt to a fluctuating workload.
Must be able to communicate clearly and establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and staff.
Must be able to multi-task with precise attention to detail.
Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Learn, Play, Grow Children's Therapy Services is an outpatient pediatric therapy provider.
We provide occupational, physical, and speech therapy services to children, from birth to 21 years of age, to address developmental delays commonly associated with diagnoses such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, sensory integration, chromosomal anomalies, etc.
We operate Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
We are closed for weekends and major holidays.
The Patient Services Representative is a full time position.
