LPN Overview:
The LPN will provide professional nursing care to patients of the clinic under direction of the Physician or Advanced Practice Nurse.
LPN
Qualifications:
Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensure:
Must have a current LPN license to practice in the state of Arkansas.
Certifications:
Must have current CPR Certification.
Preferred
Experience:
One year professional nursing experience preferred.
MA Overview:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing EECP therapy for patients, pre-certing and scheduling cardiac testing.
Performing EKG's and filling in when needed assisting physicians or APRN's.
This position requires excellent clerical, environmental and organizational tasks.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Minimum of one year work experience in a public contact job.
Certifications:
Must maintain CPR certification Knowledge:
Knowledge of health care field and medical specialties.
Knowledge of information that must be conveyed to patients and families.
Special Skills:
CPR, EKG and Blood Pressure skills; basic computer knowledge; communication skills.
Skill in performing assistance tasks appropriately.
Skill in tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions.
Skill in understanding of patient education needs by effectively sharing information with patients and families.
Abilities:
Ability to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures.
Ability to project a pleasant and professional image.
Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks.
Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others.
Preferred Education:
Completion of MA or CNA training program consisting of classroom and clinical training.
