Manager, Accounts Receivable at ArcBest in Fort Smith, AR
Currently, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join the ArcBest team. As a member, you will provide management oversight for Accounts Receivable file, business and financial analysis, and support for the department. Ensure accounts receivable file is collected efficiently. Evaluate current processes, develop, and implement changes to improve the accuracy and efficiency in the collection of open balances with ABFs customer base across each business unit. Your contribution may include:
Analyze monthly performance of receivable collections, bad debt expense, and revenue adjustments, and initiate solutions to correct problems and reward performance Devise and implement performance quality systems to better measure invoicing accuracy, collection activity, and efficiency Communicate with various management and personnel about procedures and policies and introduce new ones Analyze unique requests of information from customers and produce accurate reports Review both active and potential customers' credit scores Review customers for centralized Accounts Receivable or field assignment Work with Director to charge bad debt expense and revenue reduction requests, and make credit decisions Direct Accounts Receivable for International Global Supply Chain customers Supervise the collection for Government business Develop and analyze processes to help secure payment, keep DSO within acceptable limits, and control labor costs Offer guidance and support for problems relating to open balances Ensure continued certification Ensure receivables and invoices are collected and processed through the system by properly trained employees Guide terminal cashiers Train, motivate, set goals for, communicate with, and evaluate employees Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals Other duties, as assigned As a Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be a member of the ArcBest Accounts Receivable team in Fort Smith, AR. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
